Who wins? Marvel Cinematic Universe VS DC Extended Universe

Marvel started it all with Iron Man back in 2008. From then on, almost every year Marvel released at least one movie from MCU and kept on making money with sequels, spin-off and adapting new superheroes. The universe divided into 3 phases and still on going with many future movies, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok will be release this year. Stories developments and complexities are main goals here +1 point for Marvel.

Yeah, keep on dancing, Groot...

From gross revenue, with 14 movies already released Marvel sure have it all. +1 point for Marvel. These does not include the TV series. The most successful one is Jessica Jones. Walt Disney Pictures sure make a lot of money. +1 point for Marvel.

Next, on to DC Extended Universe which is not too successful (according to me, but don't make you sway because I haven't got a chance to watch the movies yet haha). I know a lot of you must gave respons like: what? I must read this wrong or my eyes tricked me, where have you been your whole life? how long are you gonna hibernate?

The answer is *drum rolls*

Because his rival successfully make a huge phase and huge scenarios for their movies, DC follow the steps but without thinking it as a whole universe. DC made stand alone superheroes movie like Nolan's Batman and Superman Returns.

But with the great reviews of DC TV series like Arrow and The Flash, DC made a U-turn. They make multiverse, TVs and movies universe co-exist. +1 point for DC. TV multiverse began with Arrow in 2012 hence called Arrowverse, whereas movies DC multiverse which just started in  2013 with Man of Steel and hopefully get as successful as MCU. This year release are Wonder Woman and Justice League.

From box office performance, DC is doing so so, with Batman vs Superman being the highest and Man of Steel being the lowest. We cannot conclude this as a loss because DC just made 3 movies DC Extended Universe.
So far, Marvel wins with 3 points to DC's 1 point.
What do you think? Let me know...

Grand Opening

Hi there, welcome to my nook to read all my stories.

I will tell stories about my interests. YA fantasy books, music, movies and Asian dramas (oh yeah, who doesn't like Kdramas), traveling destinations and foods nom... nom... nom.... And maybe some thoughts of mine about life (I already felt like an expert)

And I tell you this up front that traveling destinations and foods will be mostly just pictures. You will know the reason. Maybe. Later. When I am ready hahaha...

That's all, folks. I hope you all enjoy your stay and come again. Leave some trails and don't forget to spread the words.
